Service Description: SDG Civic address master file showing location of regular civic addresses and Emily farm entrances compiled and maintained for 9-1-1 purposes. This is the MASTER file to be edited only by SDG GIS Staff.
Civic addresses are given out by local municipalities. Road names are based on official municipal road names. Civic address points have been digitized with the aid of local aerial photos (DRAPE 2014 & 2019). Note that these are NOT MAILING ADDRESSES.
Civic address points are given out based on location of the entranceway to a property. Points have, been moved to the main building of a particular building or property. File updated monthly. Errors can be reported to sade@sdgcounties.ca .
